Where can you fly from August 1? Which countries are Russians allowed to enter?

While Russians were actively booking trips to resorts in Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory, Russia resumed international flights - it will be possible to fly abroad from August 1. However, borders were opened only with some countries, and for now flights will be carried out in four directions. Let's figure out where Russians can fly in August and whether they should rush to travel abroad at all.

Where to go after quarantine? Test

Let's find out what suits you better: lazy beaches or walking Europe.

Where can you fly?

By decision of the Russian government, flights are being resumed with the UK, Turkey, Tanzania and Abkhazia. Moreover, in the Turkish direction, only the airports of Istanbul and Ankara will open from August 1, and from the 10th - Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman. The United Kingdom can only be reached through the London airport, and Tanzania can only be reached through the resort island of Zanzibar. For the first time, international flights are opening from three Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.

It also became known that the European Union is not yet going to open its borders with Russia. But it will be possible to get to many European countries in transit through the UK and Turkey. Since from July 1, flights between EU member states, as well as Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein are allowed. In addition, the Union lifted restrictions for 15 resident countries, including China, Georgia and Serbia. However, not everyone is ready to accept Russians, and upon arrival they may be forced into a two-week quarantine.

You can get to the USA only through Turkey on the Istanbul – New York flight. Not all Middle Eastern and Asian resorts will open. Tourists can already fly to Egypt and Dubai, but not to other emirates. Thailand, Morocco and Vietnam are also not allowing tourists in yet.

What will happen to tourism after the pandemic? Expert answers

We tell you which countries are already opening their borders and where Russians will go after the end of self-isolation.

What should you remember when going on a trip?

Coronavirus test and two-week isolation

Tourists will not need a certificate with a negative test for COVID-19 - you can fly to all destinations accessible from Russia without it. In addition, Turkey and Abkhazia do not even need a visa, unlike the UK and Tanzania.

All travelers arriving in Turkey will be required to fill out a special form: you must provide personal information, seat number, address in the country, contact information, as well as information about your health status (whether there are any symptoms of coronavirus). At the airport, each passenger will have their temperature measured, and if no signs of illness are found, they will be released further along the route. You will have to fill out a similar form when flying to the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania. Upon arrival, tourists will also be checked. If someone has a high temperature or other symptoms of COVID-19, they will be offered to take a rapid test right at the airport.

But in the UK, immediately after entering the country you will be subject to a mandatory two-week quarantine. A certificate with a negative test does not exempt you from it. Immediately after arrival, tourists must go to the place where they will stay during isolation. Violation of the order is punishable by a fine of 100 pounds sterling (approximately 9.7 thousand rubles).

Restrictive measures

Despite the fact that in many countries the number of patients with COVID-19 has noticeably decreased, the risk of contracting the virus still remains. Therefore, safety measures should not be neglected. At airports, hotels and public transport, tourists are required to maintain social distance, and in some places they must wear medical masks and gloves. It is recommended to wash your hands frequently and use disinfectants regularly.

There is no need to worry about safety while holidaying at Turkish resorts, local authorities assure. In hotels, all employees will use personal protective equipment, and rooms and common areas will be thoroughly disinfected. At the same time, social distancing will be monitored even on the beach.

High prices

Judging by search engine queries, the most popular destination is Türkiye. Right behind it is Great Britain. Also, Russians often look for information about the island of Zanzibar, but are in no hurry to buy tickets there.

However, some people are hesitant about airfare prices. They are significantly higher than last year. In the summer of 2019, the average price for a flight to Turkey was approximately 12 thousand rubles, and this year this is only the starting price. Tickets to Istanbul are now about 30% more expensive than usual, and to Antalya - 42%.

There is no exact answer to this question. If you are willing to put up with some restrictions - a two-week quarantine in the UK or masks and gloves in public places in other countries, then you can plan a trip.

Of course, directions for direct flights are still limited. But if necessary, transit flights will help you get to the right place. The main thing is not to forget that the coronavirus has not disappeared anywhere, the risk of infection still exists and you should not neglect safety measures.

Payment on the official website

To do this, you will need to go to the Yandex Money website and go to the “Payment for services” section.

Required section of the official website

A page will open, at the top of which a list of the most popular services will be presented. If you scroll down, the catalog becomes visible.

Service catalog

Next, you need to go to the desired section and select the service you want to pay for. It is also possible to enter the company name into the search bar, which is located above the catalog.

Important: if the organization could not be found in the catalog, you can do this using its TIN. To do this, you need to click on the inscription “Transfer according to the details of a legal entity,” which is located under the list of services.

The border is slightly open: where can you go?

The coronavirus has interfered with the plans of many Russians, robbing them of the opportunity to go on a well-deserved summer vacation abroad. But even with the opening of borders, will Russians be able to go on vacation this year?

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin advised against making unnecessary international trips until next year - this, in his opinion, would be safer. It's time to support domestic tourism, but difficulties may arise with this too.

Despite the fact that, according to Biletix, prices for domestic flights this year are record low, where to buy these tickets is not yet clear. Although in many regions observation is mandatory for those arriving from Moscow and St. Petersburg, you can visit relatives without any problems. Problems arise when it comes to tourist travel.

One of the most popular destinations, the Krasnodar Territory, is closed for quarantine until June 21. If visitors are not keen on the prospect of two-week isolation upon arrival in Sochi, then most likely they should postpone their plans. The exception is trips to sanatoriums on a voucher, but even there you will have to face a number of restrictions related to accommodation, food and movement around the territory.

After 2014, the second most popular destination was Crimea. The peninsula is not very hospitable for the foreseeable future. Tourist centers and sanatoriums will open from June 15 only for local residents, and all arrivals will be sent to the observatory. For now, only Crimeans and workers who are lucky enough to go there on a business trip will be able to enjoy the beauty of the Black Sea.

Someone might like Kaliningrad. Although there is a two-week quarantine for arrivals, some cafes and beaches have been opened since June 5. Therefore, if an additional 14 days of vacation do not frighten Russian tourists, the westernmost region of the country is already ready to receive them.

But traveling abroad is even more difficult. On June 8, at the presidium of the Coordination Council for the Fight against Coronavirus, the Prime Minister announced that Russians would be allowed to travel abroad to work and study, for treatment or to care for relatives. Although this was reported only on the 8th, government order No. 1511-r is dated June 6, 2020. But the Ministry of Transport does not yet expect an immediate resumption of international traffic. The earliest date is the beginning of July this year. And then what?

Europe may not be considered as an option. According to Reuters, on June 15 the European Union will restore free movement within the Schengen zone, but there is no talk yet about opening external borders. As before, only Russians with dual citizenship or a residence permit will be able to return to European countries.

Türkiye opened its borders on May 20. For now, travel is only allowed for medical purposes. But from June 15, the country plans to resume the tourist season, as reported by RIA Novosti. The situation is the same in Greece, where many beaches are already open due to the intense heat.

Cyprus could be a good option this year. Although it is not worth targeting the opening of borders in mid-June yet. According to CNN, tourists from countries with the highest coronavirus statistics will be allowed entry last. From June 9, Cyprus will open its borders to visitors from countries where the epidemiological situation is more favorable.

The Minister of Transport of Cyprus, Yiannis Korousos, published on May 26 a list of countries where a “security gradation” is presented. Russia, along with the USA and Great Britain, is at the very end of the list. If the Russians do manage to get to the island, they will be pleasantly surprised. In Cyprus, they are so eager to restore international tourism that they are ready to reimburse all travel expenses if visitors become infected with the virus within the country. However, infection in itself, of course, is not pleasant. And from July 1, tourists will be welcome in Georgia.

Obviously, Russians have very little choice this year. Moreover, many countries do not plan to open their borders to tourists at all. You shouldn’t expect a full-fledged trip, as it could have been before the pandemic. Clubs, bars and other entertainment will likely be closed, and restrictions will be put in place on beaches and in public areas to maintain social distancing.

Certain concerns will be caused by flights to which passengers without masks and gloves will not be allowed. There is talk about staggered seating, control of movement in the aircraft cabin and special dietary requirements. And the flights themselves are still a big question.

Traveling this summer will, without exaggeration, be troublesome. Even if tourists are ready to put up with all the inconveniences, they still need to try to find a country where they will be allowed in and will not be quarantined. How sad it is to realize that perhaps in 2020 it will be easier to stay at home, maintaining your health and nerves.

Payment in the online store

To do this, you will need to go to the Internet resource, select the appropriate product or service and go to payment methods. There you need to find the inscription “Yandex.Money” and click on it. A form will open, after filling it out you will receive a request to confirm payment from Yandex.

Payment form on the liters website

Not all sites have the inscription. In some places, instead of it, there is an image of a yellow wallet, which is the symbol of the Yandex Money payment system.

Switching to paying with Yandex money on aliexpress

When you click on it, the sequence of actions is repeated: fill out the form and confirm the order.

If the site does not support payments through an electronic wallet, you can use a virtual card, which is issued in your personal account in a few clicks. Then, when paying, you just need to indicate its details.

The same must be done when the user has a plastic card from Yandex.

Offline

Offline purchases can be paid for with an issued plastic card or a virtual one linked to a wallet. In the second case, you will need a Yandex application installed on your phone, in which you need to enable support for contactless payments.

You can pay with a plastic (or virtual) card:

  • in shops;
  • in public transport;
  • in cafes and restaurants;
  • in cinemas.

The list of places that accept funds using this method is almost limitless. Wherever they support payment by bank card, you can pay directly from your e-wallet.

What can you pay without commission?

Unfortunately, when paying for most services, the service charges a commission, the amount of which varies. You can find out the exact payment amount on the payment form itself; two numbers will be shown there: with and without commission.

Payment amount including service commission

At the moment, you can do the following without commission:

  • Mobile communication services of the Big Three operators (Megafon, MTS, Beeline), if the payment amount does not exceed 5,000 rubles.
  • Mobile communications Yota, Tinkoff Mobile, TTK Mobile, Sbermobile, and some regional operators.
  • Books on the Litres website;
  • Services of all services from Yandex: from taxis to website development.
  • Skype account.
  • Taxes of individuals and legal entities.
  • Contributions to pension and insurance funds for individual entrepreneurs.

Important: payment terms are constantly changing. Before sending a payment, you must pay attention to the final amount indicated in the completed form on the website page.

If you have a virtual or real card from the Yandex Money service, you can make commission-free payments in any store, cafe, restaurant or legal organization. In addition to the fact that these operations are carried out without additional costs, part of the amount spent on them is returned in the form of cashback.
