How to make money out of thin air? Probably the easiest way to obtain funds, as they say, out of thin air, is to provide intermediary services. The fact is that each of us buys, sells, or uses some kind of services almost every day. For intermediary services, you do not need any special circumstances or even diplomas (at least not always) - you only need a certain life ingenuity, the ability to analyze and plan future profits and focus on the intended goal. Mediation can be seen as a bridge between the seller and the consumer, and in some cases it is simply a wonderful opportunity to quickly earn a good amount of money. Try it and you will find out for yourself how easy it really is to make money.
Mediation on wooden pallets
It all started exactly when I worked as a storekeeper in one large company. It was stationed outside the city, in the so-called modern logopark.
These are huge Class A warehouses. It is in such places that the goods of chain companies are deployed: Pyaterochka, Monetka, Sport - Master and so on.
I worked as a storekeeper. After trainings and books, my worldview and attitude towards work changed, which allowed me to soon take the place of shift supervisor. When the warehouse manager went on a long-awaited vacation, he gave all the shift managers various tasks that needed to be completed before his return.
I needed to get rid of a whole mountain of pallets that had become unusable. They were located in the corner of the warehouse and seriously complicated the work, taking up too much space.
Every week a car drove up to the warehouse, where the accumulated garbage was thrown out. They also tried to throw broken pallets there a little at a time, but there were no fewer of them.
On the contrary, the pile grew, absorbing the free space of our warehouse. To get rid of it, I went to the Internet, hoping to find at least some company there that would remove them for free.
There are companies that remove old cast-iron bathtubs, washing machines and refrigerators for free. So I was hoping to find an organization that needed wood.
My expectations were met on the first page of the Yandex search engine. The container company not only carried out the removal of broken pallets, but also bought them. 30 rubles for one broken pallet. I called and the very next day they arrived and loaded a whole truck.
The loading process took about three hours, and I didn’t waste my time: I talked with the purchasing manager. In such a short period of time, I managed to learn the operating principles of packaging companies.
They buy broken or whole pallets and repair and polish them at their base. In other words, they bring it to a decent appearance and sell it at a higher price to their regular customers, which are confectionery factories, factories and various enterprises.
For example, one Russian pallet costs 150 rubles, and a euro pallet costs even more.
Wooden pallets are only a small part of the work of packaging companies. There are also many other container products made of plastic, iron, and cardboard that they sell.
They are not limited to purchasing only broken pallets. On the contrary, they try to buy whole or slightly damaged ones. This is what the prices of the packaging company I contacted looked like at that time:
- Euro pallet 90 rubles
- Pallet “Russian” 70 rubles
- Broken pallet 30 rubles
This is what Euro pallets look like:
They didn’t take the whole pile that I need to get rid of, because a broken pallet is a pallet broken in three places, no more, everything else is considered garbage by them and they are ready to take it away for free.
The absence of some elements of the product is also considered a breakdown.
In the pile of scrap they managed to find 15 whole pallets, for which I received according to the tariff. The manager paid me immediately after the truck was loaded.
- Broken pallets 260 pieces 7800 rubles
- Whole pallets “Russian” 15 pieces 1050 rubles
- Total: 275 pieces 8850 rubles
What is mediation as a business?
Every person has resorted to the services of intermediaries more than once.
True, not every businessman is ready to openly admit that he acts only as a “conductor” in the provision of services.
The only glaring exceptions are realtors.
Everyone knows that their job is to help find properties to rent or buy.
Realtors are paid 30-50% of the deal simply because they bring two people together: those who have an offer, and those who have a need for this offer.
Sounds quite simple and attractive, right?
Although it is worth noting that this task is not as simple as it might seem from the outside.
The intermediary business now exists in many areas of life.
But in all of them the principle remains the same.
The intermediary brings the client and the contractor together, and for this he receives a certain percentage of remuneration. A business is built literally “out of thin air”, however, it often brings not “air” profits at all.
Mediation in finishing works
One day, I decided to change the tiles in the bathroom. I used the services of a friend, or to be more precise, a classmate.
I was so pleased with his work that I even decided to change the tiles in the toilet. It was then that the idea came to me to engage in intermediary services in finishing work.
I received information about construction, finishing and this business in general from Vasya. While he was working, I was in the apartment and bombarded him with questions.
Repairs mean money. Everyone always needs repairs. Even high competition in this market does not prevent those who are just coming here from earning money. But there are also low seasons - winter.
Vasya, a master in tile making. Lays any tile. Both in the house and on the street. Sometimes he sits without work. Works with a partner. He has been doing this for many years, but in matters of advertising and marketing he is extremely weak. I took this seriously and, as practice shows, for a long time. I'm not going to stop.
All I did was install notices in yards, on the ends of houses and trees. This kind of advertising is usually used by “moving movers.”
After the first orders, I posted an ad on Avito and the then existing Slando with photographs of the work done.
There have been a lot of calls, for eight years now. Not every person who calls uses our services, but approximately every fifth person is our client.
In the first year we completed only about 50 orders. And only after that their number increased. We finally managed to set up the desired wave of word of mouth. During this time, I continued to work as a shift supervisor (I had the most convenient schedule).
I charge a percentage for finding a client. My tilers themselves go to sites, take measurements, and purchase materials. Their work hasn't changed at all. There are just more orders.
I take 20% of the amount of each transaction. This doesn't cost the work crew much.
It was only in my second year that I realized that it was necessary to sell tiler services to legal organizations.
Over time, pharmacies, grocery stores, and various offices became our clients. For a long time we collaborated with a construction company that built two high-rise buildings. We laid tiles in sanitary facilities and on staircase landings.
Finding such fat clients is quite easy. I sent sales letters to these companies. I went to meetings myself. Disadvantage: I had to open an individual entrepreneur. Without contracts, they do not cooperate with anyone.
I was lucky that my workers also specialized in outdoor tiles. The cost of laying tiles outdoors is higher, and the volumes are much larger.
I still don’t know how some construction teams receive orders for laying paving slabs, most likely through the administration.
We place it in the courtyards of private cottages and in front of the entrances to shops and offices, which are located on the first floors of residential buildings.
Intermediaries in the service sector
Services, as is known, have a number of characteristics that fundamentally distinguish them from goods: intangibility, unstorability, inseparability from the source of provision, as well as high volatility (variability) of quality. Due to these characteristics, the role of service intermediaries is usually limited. Since services are intangible, the client, without trying them personally, will not be able to get an idea of their real properties or the level of service in a particular company. Intermediaries can, at best, provide a colorful description of the source of the service, but the credibility of such actions will not always be high. The client is more likely to consider the recommendation of his acquaintance more plausible, rather than a little-known person, even if he speaks very beautifully. At the same time, the market for intermediation in the service sector exists, and there are companies specializing in such activities. Their common name is “service franchisor” or “service intermediary”.
They enter into an agreement with the source of service provision and receive from it a “franchise” - exclusive rights to provide a service under a protected trademark, label, or technology. The brand owner determines the basic principles by which his services should be provided. If he decides that somewhere else there is a company or entrepreneur capable of providing a service that meets the requirements, then he can enter into a franchise agreement with him and will be sure that the client will receive approximately the same as if he had come to the head office. structure.
My earnings over the past five years: 25,000 – 35,000 thousand rubles.
I could have earned more, but my team, before they contacted me, had their own achievements. So sometimes they perform services that I have nothing to do with.
At one time, I even had to hire another crew. There were a lot of orders and we couldn’t put the tiles on time on our own.
Advantages:
- Good income. Until now, intermediary services for finishing apartments related to laying tiles is the most profitable business for me.
- High demand. Everyone does repairs. Despite the competition, you can always find clients. Sometimes they can be acquaintances.
- There is no need to invest heavily in advertising. Without paid advertising, I reached a good level within a year and only then parted with my main job. If you invest at least 10,000-15,000 thousand rubles a month in advertising, you can get promoted much earlier.
Flaws:
- You need to find a good construction team. Professionals with a capital letter. Such personnel are not lying around on the road, but in general, builders and finishers are a dime a dozen. There are plenty to choose from.
- In winter, the number of orders drops. Not a season. Most orders, oddly enough, are in the summer.
- It is difficult to find serious customers (legal entities). I started looking for such clients almost from day one, but the first such client appeared only a year later. To have such clients, you should spend more time searching.
So, how much can you earn from intermediary services in the repair market? I only do tiles. But, you can try selling the services of electricians and finishers.
To do this, you just need to find a reliable team. The principle is this:
Step one. We are finding a team that will provide finishing services. We discuss the terms of cooperation. It is best to have friends in this direction.
Step two. We are looking for clients. The easiest and most popular way: posting advertisements.
Step three. When a repair or some service is provided, we receive money and pay the workers. In my case, everything was much simpler.
The guys did everything themselves and paid me. It was not profitable for them to throw me away, because I supplied them with clients.
How quickly will your investment pay off?
With proper planning and detailed analysis of business information, an entrepreneur can make money quickly and a lot through intermediation. So, when purchasing products from a supplier for a total amount of 100 thousand rubles, and subsequently selling them with a classic intermediary margin of 30%, the intermediary will earn 30 thousand rubles on one transaction, and there should be at least ten such transactions per month. If a product is in short supply or if you have a good idea for promoting it, you can set higher percentages (from 50% to 100%).
The prospect of an intermediary business is associated solely with market expansion. A successful intermediary always has strong business connections with both profitable sellers and profitable buyers. The more of both, the higher the agent's commission.
Removing snow from roofs
In winter, when there are few orders in the construction industry, I clear snow from roofs. This is the third year already.
At the moment, 12 houses are using my services. I don’t remember how much I earned last year, but last winter, my commissions amounted to: 72,000 rubles.
The cost of cleaning the roof of one house is: 20,000 thousand rubles, for a house with four entrances. The most interesting thing is that there are companies that do this for 10,000, 15,000 thousand rubles. I take 30% from one roof, the rest goes to the workers.
The specifics of the work are simple. I find a roof and hire a crew. It’s true that I take part in the cleaning myself. I'm standing below, supervising. The main thing is that passersby are not harmed.
Important point! Only homeowners' associations (HOA) can become clients.
Management companies have their own teams. Sometimes they are formed from employees of the management company. All issues are resolved with the chairman of the HOA.
I looked for homes that were managed by an HOA by going door to door. There is a notice board at each entrance. At the top of it, there is information about who runs this house, with a phone number. In 90% of cases, the chairmen themselves live in these houses.
I'll tell you a secret. According to the contract for the provision of services, in one HOA, which manages 6 houses, they pay me 25,000 thousand rubles, but in fact I receive 20,000. Probably everyone understands where the difference goes.
Advantages:
- Good income in a short time. Cleaning one roof takes 2-3 hours, depending on the number of workers. In a day you can clear 3-5 houses of snow, depending on the size of the house.
- Does not require knowledge. I found a man who trained as an industrial climber. He hired several Easterners for the job and trained them in the process. He had all the necessary equipment for insurance. I only had to buy more shovels and lightweight crowbars.
Flaws:
- It's difficult to find clients. Snow removal companies provide lower prices than I do. Due to the high cost of cleaning, I have lost many potential clients. Although there are also companies for which it costs more.
- Short season. I clean my 12 houses in 3-4 days.
The work is organized as follows:
Step one. We find a team that is capable of removing snow from roofs. We agree on a price. I work with one team.
Step two. In mid-winter we begin searching for homes managed by an HOA. We offer our services, increasing the cost by 25-30% of the cost of cleaning services. You can find future clients earlier, but it is best to make an offer in winter.
At the moment I cooperate with three HOAs. But initially he negotiated with ten. You need to be prepared for the fact that not everyone will use your services, despite the fact that they are satisfied with everything at the meeting.
Step three. When the HOA is ready for cleaning, you must be on site at the appointed time. Payments are mainly made by transfer to a current account, from the HOA account. A contract must be drawn up. Whatever one may say, you will have to pay taxes.
Perhaps someone will get lucky and manage to find an HOA that will pay in cash.
Financial intermediaries
Once upon a time, there was no particular need to conduct other transactions with money, except for buying other goods with it - the currency had a fixed price (often tied to the value of gold). Now cash flows are a whole field for speculation. Financial intermediaries take advantage of this. Their work is most active in the field of investment. The most popular function of financial intermediaries here is assessing the risks of investments in a project. The investor thereby entrusts the management of his future capital not to the object of financing directly, but to a certain person who is able to analyze how profitable the project will be, what are its prospects, primarily financial. Intermediaries take on the role of the entity making the decision about where the money will be invested.
The easiest way to understand this scheme is through the example of specific institutions. Firstly, these are trustees: after receiving client money, they decide how to profitably invest it in shares, assets, or perhaps lend it to someone. Secondly, these are credit unions - having at their disposal the funds of the people who join them, they try to use them profitably. Thirdly, banks can also be classified as financial intermediaries (when it comes to deposits). Fourthly, these are insurance companies that, having received money from clients, use it as part of various savings programs. Fifthly, these are pension funds that transform the funds of citizens who have signed an agreement into profitable payments when a person completes his working career. Who are financial intermediaries? These are organizations that specialize in working with cash flows, which can take different forms, but the content in all cases remains approximately the same.
Personal growth trainings
Five years ago I attended a training session for a businessman. A person runs a business and conducts training at the same time. The topics are standard: “How to succeed in life”, “How to save money correctly” and so on.
After the lesson, where there were only 12 people, I stopped and talked with Oleg (that’s the name of the same trainer), we would offer him cooperation. He agreed.
I offered my intermediary services, that is, for each client referred, I will receive a certain percentage. His main condition was that he charges 3,000 rubles per person for his trainings. I can sell them at a higher price.
The optimal amount for me was 1000 rubles per person, but I also put forward a condition: only I am looking for clients and only for the amount of 4000 thousand rubles.
After all, if he continues to attract participants, then people who have paid different amounts will sit at the same training. This will lead to someone being dissatisfied. But the main task is to help people. Only then will he return again for motivation and knowledge.
The trainings were held 2 times a month, and I managed to attract 15-20 people to one training. I myself often attended them, but paid for the entrance ticket.
The most difficult stage: two weeks before the training. It takes a lot of effort to fill the hall. I reposted on social networks, attracted my friends, and handed out invitations to clients who used services in the field of finishing work.
In order to increase customer flow, we decided to conduct training for sales managers. The thanks received cannot be counted.
Examples of intermediary business
To begin with, it’s worth noting that most business ideas can be described as mediation between a supplier and a buyer. In some cases, the supplier may be the manufacturer, in other cases, a larger supplier. The buyer can also be an individual, or it can be some kind of business.
Almost all business can be classified as intermediation, because... At a certain stage of activity, an entrepreneur is faced with the task of buying from one and selling to another. The only exception is the mining industry. Even the production of, for example, smartphones is an intermediary between the component manufacturer and the points of sale of these smartphones.
The construction industry is filled with intermediaries. Most often, their role is played by those who purchase goods from the manufacturer and subsequently sell them to the customer. Let's look at a clear example: let's say we have company A, which produces lighting for industrial facilities. There is a construction company B that needs to install lighting at a construction site. And there is company B, which installs lighting. She is an intermediary in construction.
- In the first stage, Company B announces that they need to carry out work to stop the lighting at their facility.
- Company B learns that Company B needs their services and makes them an offer.
- If company B agrees, then a service agreement is signed between them.
- The next step is that Company B contacts Company A and orders lighting from them.
- Company A supplies the required goods to company B.
- Company B installs equipment at Company B's site.
- If the parties are satisfied with the work, then you can return to the first point.
This is an example of a typical organization that engages in mediation. It generally explains this phenomenon, and does not give instructions on how to become an intermediary in construction. At the same time, one must understand that the construction company in this example is an intermediary for their client who wanted to build some kind of object.
Wholesale
The whole point of wholesale trade is precisely that wholesalers are intermediaries between the manufacturer and the stores. Often it is too difficult for a manufacturer to sell his product on his own: all labor resources are devoted to harvesting, raising livestock or production. At the same time, maintaining a whole department of managers negotiating with small stores, each of which will buy goods for a maximum of ten thousand rubles, is quite expensive.
Especially considering that several million worth of goods were produced. In this case, the manufacturer turns to an intermediary (wholesaler) and sells most of the goods to him. The intermediary is already negotiating with small stores for a small percentage. The percentage is usually small, so in wholesale trade there are often cases when, for the sake of profit, an enterprise increases trade volumes (working capital increases).
Real estate

It is possible to make money in this area, but you need to understand all the stages of the process that affect the success of the enterprise. In this case, it is necessary to understand what home buyers go through and what stages need to be completed during the transaction. Understand the legal aspects. You shouldn’t get into the real estate industry without proper preparation—it’s too difficult a task.
However, if you have the knowledge and necessary skills, then opening your own real estate agency is a great way to earn your bread, butter and much more. With a competent approach and selection of employees, you can always count on high profits. Typically, profits are distributed as follows:
- Ordinary employees, agents, make a profit from closing one specific real estate transaction.
- The agency's management receives a fixed percentage of the profits of ordinary employees.
- The management's profit goes to cover expenses: office rent, equipment fees, salaries for a lawyer and an accountant.
- The remaining money can be considered net profit.
Such a scheme allows most real estate agencies in Russia and Ukraine to exist and be prosperous.
HR solutions
Another interesting type of intermediation in business is a recruitment agency. We are talking about providing services for large businesses that, for objective reasons, do not want to take on the work of searching and selecting personnel. Instead, this is done by a recruitment agency, which publishes vacancies on all well-known sites, selects candidates, and in some cases even conducts interviews. And only then does the candidate undergo a final interview at the company that hired the services of HR specialists.
Recruitment agencies can also work with people who directly want to get a job. When new vacancies appear, recruitment agencies first show them to their candidates who are looking for work. Only then, if the candidate does not want to join the company, HR officers post the vacancy on specialized websites.
We suggest you familiarize yourself with: Common ownership and shared ownership - difference
Considering that most companies in the country are moving towards consolidation and they do not have the opportunity to select all employees, creating a business in this area can turn out to be a very profitable and interesting enterprise that will provide high profits for the owners. The main costs here will go to:
- office rental;
- employee salaries;
- maintenance of a call center (you can create your own, you can turn to outsourcing).
After opening and advertising, the business will very quickly begin to generate high profits. What’s especially important is that such a business can quickly be turned into a call center if the recruitment agency’s profits suddenly decrease.
In an era of maximum dissemination of information, intermediary services are recognized as a particularly profitable type of business. Therefore, many aspiring entrepreneurs are interested in what this activity is like as an entrepreneurship in the service sector.
Mediation services – ensuring interaction between various stakeholders. To become an intermediary, a future businessman needs to have a number of psychological and business qualities:
- The ability to search and find unique information that is inaccessible to a large circle of users or low-cost products. Be able to find a place where you can buy cheaper and sell more expensive, but at a lower price than your competitors. This increases your chances of becoming an excellent broker (speculator).
- Communication skills.
- Ability to self-PR and product promotion. If the intermediary is able to negotiate with the seller and buyer on mutually beneficial terms, then the likelihood of a successful business increases.
- Creative approach to business.
- Minimum initial capital and provision of consumables. Sometimes mediation does not require initial investments, but for its own development, obtaining fresh information and finding clients, minimal financial investments will be required.
- Increased persistence and stress resistance.
Minuses:
- Failure of deals and agreements for various reasons.
- Possibility of deception.
My earnings over the past three years have been 25,000 - 40,000 thousand rubles.
The main advantage was that Oleg had his own premises of 30 sq.m. He didn't have to pay rent. If I had a full house of 22 people, I received a bonus of 10,000 thousand rubles.
Advantages:
- Not a bad income. If I had more time, I would be able to attract more clients using other, different methods. For all this time, we haven’t even created a website, but it will definitely appear soon.
- Interesting job. This is of course a matter of taste, but I like to do it. Every morning I wake up and am faced with many interesting tasks.
Flaws:
- Many of those who once attended the training come a second or even a third time after some time, but word of mouth works very poorly in this type of activity.
Despite the fact that Oleg comes up with many new training topics, not every person is able to pay 4,000 thousand rubles. Trainings are a very specific product.
You cannot feel it, bring it home, or touch it. Many people perceive this kind of meeting as completely useless. However, we receive words of gratitude very often.
How to mediate in trainings:
Step one. It is necessary to find an organization, or a group of people who conduct all kinds of training, and offer their services for a certain percentage of the cost.
It may not necessarily be a large company; perhaps it will be possible to find a person who has experience in conducting training or would not mind devoting himself to this activity (possibly partially).
Thus, you can build your business by conducting trainings. However, you should take into account the costs associated with renting the premises. It is best to rent a room by the hour. This could be a shopping center or a business center.
Step two. We begin an active search. The most effective search method: ringing. We find a group in your city on social networks, and on the page where contacts are listed, call the phone number.
It is advisable to prepare your speech in advance. According to my data, from 30-40 calls, one client appears.
Step three. We have never taken advance payment. Few people want to pay by transfer to a bank card in advance. We take payment upon attendance, before the start of the training. We conclude an agreement immediately.
To gather a room of 20 people, you should get 30-40 consents. There will definitely be those who cannot or will not come.
Description of the operating scheme
Let's understand in detail the motivation of each party in this chain, and what you will generally offer them, in order to understand how perfectly thought out this system is!
So, what do we need for this scheme to work:
- The city in which you live must have a population of at least 300 thousand people, because the larger the city, accordingly, the more possible clients will come and the more you can earn from it. Ideal options, of course, are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and other million-plus cities, but don’t rush to get upset if you’re not from there, in any case, if you do everything exactly as in this method, you can earn from 50 thousand rubles every month you can.
- The largest aggregator site: export-base (a database of legal entities and companies in the Russian Federation), which generates all companies in the Russian Federation for various types of activities, there you will look for realtors and construction companies involved in apartment renovations in your city.
- Find a freelancer or your friends who can design a printed leaflet for further printing; later you will understand why this is needed. Or do it yourself if you know how to work with graphic editors.
- The budget for all costs is up to 8 thousand rubles, mainly for printing these same leaflets.
- The ability to move around the city, either by your own transport or by public transport, to negotiate with repair companies and realtors, or transfer these responsibilities to another person who, in your opinion, is better able to negotiate, for example, your friend, with whom you will do this together.
- Order a new SIM card in your name, under a contract, from official operators, do not use left-handed SIM cards, because it is through this “golden” SIM card that the flow of clients will be generated to the repair organization, which you will leave to the same construction company, because clients will call them directly! A SIM card in your name is your guarantee, later you will understand why.
About mediation in general
Intermediation services are a very interesting area. This is movement. This is interesting. But the most important thing is available to absolutely everyone. Even a schoolchild is capable of providing mediation services if he chooses an interesting direction and gains the necessary knowledge.
Here is the definition of this activity given by Wikipedia:
Intermediary services are a form of business activity that involves facilitating the establishment of connections between producers and consumers in order to speed up and facilitate the circulation of raw materials, materials, products, money, currency, information, and consumer goods.
This definition is quite difficult to understand. It is for this reason that many people avoid this type of activity. In fact, everything is very simple. All you need to become an intermediary is to find a company that sells a product or service for a certain amount.
Throw your commission on top, and then find a consumer who will be ready to buy this product, or use the service at the price of an intermediary.
Both a company and a person can act as a seller of a product or service, as well as a consumer. Do not confuse intermediary services with resale.
Resale is a kind of purchase and subsequent sale of the purchased product. The ideal intermediary does not invest his own money. Only in exceptional cases.
Many people often ask the question: why is intermediary activity so developed and how do you manage to make money from it?
The fact is that there are a lot of companies, and there are a lot of consumers too. And many simply do not know about each other’s existence.
Two years ago I made a rather interesting deal. The bakery bought 14 bags of flour once a month, at a price of 2400 per bag. Second grade. The first variety was sold for 3100. That's a bit expensive for them.
To improve the quality of the product, it had to be sifted. I found a company that sold first grade flour for 2800 – a bag. When ordering 50 bags or more, they gave a discount of 200 rubles. That is, the price dropped to 2,600 rubles.
I found another bakery owned by a friend of mine and offered both of them to buy flour from me for 2,900 rubles, expecting to receive 300 rubles per bag.
They gladly agreed, but my condition was that I had to buy at least 25 bags. The deal is done. I received 300 rubles for each bag sold. That is, 15,000 rubles.
But in this way you can sell fertilizers, dried fruits, honey, molasses. The possibilities for intermediary services are endless. The only nuance that stops many is the non-standard salary. The mediator is the wolf whose feet feed him.
You need to move and think. It was for this reason that I started doing this without quitting my main job.
Stages of activity of dropshippers
- Search for an online store that sells goods at a price that is significantly lower than the retail price.
- Carrying out a trial purchase and establishing contact. The dropshipper discusses a cooperation scheme with the seller and obtains guarantees for the timely dispatch of goods. A trial purchase is necessary to assess product quality.
- Creation of an online store.
- Establishing sales channels for online store products on your own behalf.
How to become an intermediary
- To begin with, I recommend studying this type of activity inside and out. As they say: Google to the rescue! On the Internet you can get acquainted with interesting destinations for every taste and color.
- Read personal growth books. This will help recharge your energy and motivation. By the way, training will not be superfluous.
- Read books related to advertising, marketing, sales, communication with people.
- Find a niche of interest. For example, if your friend makes wooden tables and chairs, then you can sell them at your own markup. Potential buyer, any person who has premises. Both residential and office.
- You shouldn’t spread yourself thin at first and try to direct energy in several directions. To begin with, practice one type, study the market, demand, competition.
- While doing mediation, try to communicate more with people and make new acquaintances. Many of the people you keep in touch with may become your clients in the future. Perhaps your clients will be people from your social circle.
Intermediary is a separate activity, if you master it well, you can make good money working for yourself.

Intermediaries in the marketing aspect
The market is a multi-level phenomenon. The manufacturer, in order to sell his product, must, firstly, familiarize customers with the fact of its release, and secondly, deliver the product to the end consumer. If you can’t do this on your own, then marketing intermediaries will come to the rescue. There are several types of subjects of such activities. For example, these are companies providing logistics support for goods, companies specializing in storing products in warehouses, ensuring the safety of manufactured products. Most often, they are approached by manufacturers who do not have internal infrastructure resources for the mentioned types of activities or who lack finances for these purposes.
Another category of marketing intermediaries are lenders (or investors) who are able to provide a business with working capital to build the necessary infrastructure or expand staff to promote a product. In addition to creditors, a businessman can turn to insurance companies that offer options for protection against business or commercial risks. Another category of marketing intermediaries are firms and entrepreneurs who help the manufacturer study the market, properly advertise the product, analyze demand and, if necessary, adjust the product release process.
