Shares the secret of which car brands are more profitable to purchase for car dismantling
Now I am the owner of a large car service center, but most recently I was engaged in car dismantling, so I can share my experience.
I want to say right away that you need to work only with foreign cars, only then you can make good money. With domestic cars you will tinker and work a lot, but in the end you will earn too little.
Brands that I would recommend if you are going to open your own auto dismantling shop:
- Audi
- Chevrolet
- Daewoo
- Ford
- Mazda
- Mercedes
- Mitsubishi
- Opel
- Peugeot
- Renault
- Skoda
- Volkswagen
These are the most popular brands and I dealt only with them.
If we talk about the financial component of the business, then it is quite possible to earn 150-200 thousand rubles a month. The most important thing is to take care of who and how to sell spare parts to. Also, you shouldn’t warm your butt on the windowsill and wait for all the parts to be sold out. We dismantled one car, great, it’s time to look for money and dismantle the next one. Sooner or later, all spare parts will be sold, the main thing is to constantly look for someone to sell them to.
I was engaged in auto dismantling for 5 years and ultimately the business grew into a full-fledged auto repair shop.

How I earned my first 450,000 rubles at a car dismantling site
While studying at university for three years and working part-time at the same time, I saved up for a car. I saved 900,000 rubles. I really wanted to buy some new BMW. I ended up buying three cars, but not a BMW or a running one. This is how my story in this business began.
I thought that having my own car is very good, but after university I will need to somehow organize my life and BMW will not help me in this case. Therefore, at the beginning of my fourth year, I decided to open my own small business. In the first semester I bought an old Ford, Opel and Volkswagen and spent the entire six months disassembling them.
After the new year, I had to write a diploma, it took a lot of time, I could no longer tinker in the garage, and all the cars were dismantled, and there was no new money. It was decided that it was time to actively look for clients. Every day I spent at least an hour and a half searching for buyers. I surfed various message boards, tried to order contextual advertising, and even created my own website.
Luck turned to me and I began to slowly sell my spare parts. I analyzed which methods of attracting clients worked best and paid attention to them. As a result, by the time I defended my thesis, I had sold all the parts, earned 1,350,000 rubles in revenue and 450,000 rubles in net profit. Of course, I bought more cars and continued to do this. I work alone now, but in the future I plan to gather a large team and rent space for a warehouse for spare parts.
