Planning requires effort and self-discipline. It's easier to take on the first task than to make a plan. But with him the day will be useful.

1) You won't forget anything. 2) You will get more done in a short time. 3) You will become proactive. 4) You will make the best decision. 5) You will recover faster after an interruption.

The brain tends to remind you of forgotten tasks. But when he reminds you, it’s often too late. In addition, the brain holds one or two thoughts at a time - as soon as a new task is added, the old one is erased.

It’s easier with a plan - just remember that you need to follow it. This way you can focus on one task at a time and not miss out on details.

A shopper with a grocery list will leave the supermarket faster than a shopper without a list. Because such a list or plan sets the direction. With a plan, you won't waste time wondering what to do next. Grocery lists are made because going to the store every time you run out of something is a waste of time. To act this way means to act reactively, to be a hostage to circumstances. With its help, you will group similar tasks and save time. And thus subjugate the circumstances.

When you sit in a meeting, you say no to other things you could be doing during that time: answering an email, finishing a project, or taking a day off.

The plan will make it clear what time is worth and how to use it. You don't learn to say no, you learn to say yes to the right things. If you are working according to a plan and are interrupted, all you have to do is check the plan and resume work. Otherwise, recovery will take longer than the interruption itself.

Make planning a habit. This will help you avoid procrastination and allow you to write tasks on your calendar effortlessly.

______

— Steps that will lead to drawing up an effective monthly plan.

______

It all starts at the end of the calendar year. Analyze the current year - answer the questions: what was good and bad about this year, what did this year teach you. Write the answers to these questions at the end of your current diary. It is very interesting to remember over time how this year went.

1) Life values - determine or adjust. Be sure to write it down on the first pages of your diary.

2) Areas of life - those areas that make up your life and those that you would like to develop.

3) My desires are the basis of planning. What exactly do I personally, and no one else, want to have or achieve in various areas of my life.

4) Global goals – specific, no more than five per year.

5) Long-term planning - plan for 5 or 10 years. Enter into the table. Horizontally - years. In the vertical graphs of the spheres of life.

6) Medium-term planning - planning for the next year. Table: horizontal - months, vertical - spheres.

7) Then, a specific plan is drawn up for each goal, deadlines are determined, and steps to achieve the goal are divided into monthly plans.

Make a list of tasks for the month:

1) Write down fixed tasks, meetings and tasks in the monthly calendar in the form of a table. 2) The rest are in the form of a list. This list is constantly before your eyes. From it plans are formed, both for the week and for every day.

An effective monthly plan: how to find personal balance

How to go towards your goals, but not overload yourself and manage to live? How to maintain personal balance between life spheres? How can a creative and emotional person organize his life and put everything in order?

Try making a monthly plan according to the following scheme - and you will be pleasantly surprised by the results.

1. Monthly schedule – we add important upcoming dates to the monthly calendar: trips, meetings, events, family matters and holidays. This way we visually see our workload for the month, which means we get the opportunity to regulate it - without overloading busy weeks and filling free ones. When such a schedule is drawn up, there is a clear understanding of what to prepare for this month. Let's move on to the next point.

2. List to do – a list of to-dos for the month. Here we write down the upcoming tasks for the month to prepare the cases from the previous paragraph. For example, is a loved one’s birthday coming up? We write down tasks on the to-do list - prepare a gift, organize a holiday, create a menu, etc. We also write down here all the important and urgent matters that have accumulated over the previous period. List to do will allow you to unload the list of upcoming tasks on paper, rather than keep it in your head. Then you can work with the to-do list, putting down numbers with priorities according to importance, urgency and priority date.

3. Personal balance – we set goals and objectives for the month in 9 areas of life: at least 1 thing in each. This item is required for completion by those who are hostages of the “home-work-home” circle and workaholics who tend to get hung up on work!

Maintaining personal balance gives a feeling of a full, rich, vibrant life, increases the feeling of satisfaction with life and personal effectiveness. After all, it is known: productivity depends on the ability to switch and take a break from work on time.

+The “Personal Balance” table will help you pay attention to such important things in time: health, family relationships, environment, hobbies, sports, etc.

Let me remind you, the list of areas :

I publish such planners for every month on my blog.

1. Personal growth and spiritual development 2. Self-realization, career growth 3. Lifestyle: health, beauty, sports (+ nutrition and healthy sleep) 4. Love/Relationships/ 5. Family (children, relatives) 6. Communication/Environment/Friends 7.Finance and material well-being 8.Recreation/Leisure/Travel 9.Hobbies and interests

And yes, don’t forget to include work on annual goals in the relevant areas.

4. Wish-list – a monthly wish list helps you hear your desires and feel your needs. Even if you can’t fulfill some of your desires this month, this is not a reason to block it and hide it in the back of your mind! Is it possible to write it down? And then look at how the voiced desires work - circumstances may change and turn out more successful for you. But what is guaranteed is that the brain will launch a scanning program for possibilities for realizing desires, you will stop focusing on “why this is impossible” and begin to see options for realizing your desires. Fixing desires in a planner has another undeniable advantage - you plan joyful and happy moments: which means the monthly plan ceases to be a “whip” for self-discipline and motivates you to look into it more often.

5. Focus of the month will help direct your attention to what is most important to you. From the entire list of to-dos and goals for the month, choose one priority area that you would like to pay maximum attention to - write it down and keep it in focus for the whole month.

When the plan for the month is drawn up, keep it constantly at hand, add to it, cross it out and re-read it every time your hand reaches out to scroll through your social media feed or otherwise drain your invaluable time and energy! Even if you want to relax, in your plan you will find many pleasant activities and ideas for relaxation - in accordance with your desires.

And remember, if you can fulfill your plan, then you can do anything!

— How to make a plan for the week?

______

Weekends are a time to relax and recuperate. However, this is also a good period for planning the next week.

This four-step system will help you create an effective plan.

1) Analyze the past week. To move forward, you need to know what you have already achieved. So consider this step as self-reflection. Think about whether you have completed what you started, whether you have coped with everything. If you didn't achieve your goals, why did that happen? Remember how you felt last week, what you did, what you ate. If you ate a lot of fast food, what affected you? Perhaps some stressful situations, work, lack of time or something else. Once you understand the reasons for your actions, you can prepare yourself and avoid repeating past mistakes.

2) Write down all your ideas. These can be absolutely any personal or work ideas. Once you've written them down, review the list and determine which goals are most important. Completing priority tasks will provide you with personal and career growth. Remember: you can achieve anything, but everything has its time.

3) Put all events and meetings on your calendar. Start by listing your work hours on your calendar. This will probably take up the bulk of the week. Then schedule your sleep and exercise hours. Finally, list important social events and meetings you want to attend. After this step, you will notice that you still have enough free time that you can spend on hobbies or entertainment without a twinge of conscience.

4) Write down each day of the coming week. Every day should bring you closer to your goal. If you want to exercise four times a week, decide in advance when and how you will do it. Think through and write down everything down to the smallest detail. Consider what time of day you are most productive. Plan important things for this time.

______

Weekly and monthly plan

— 3 planning exercises.

______

I would like to draw special attention to the fact that all of the above exercises must be completed in WRITTEN. Record all your answers carefully in your journal. They will be useful to you later.

Exercise 1: Making a list. So, let's open our diary. And on a blank sheet of paper we make a beautiful heading “What I want to attract into my life.” And then think about what needs to happen this month for you to say that you feel joy and happiness. Forget about your troubles and failures for this time. Think only positively - about what you want to have, what you want to attract. Write down everything that comes to your mind at this moment. Make a complete list and close your diary. Give yourself one day so that your desires can grow in your soul. And after a day, continue your work.

Exercise 2. Focusing. If you can dream, then I'm sure your list is impressive. However, no one can have everything at once. Look through your list and choose three items from it that warm you the most. If we assume that each point brings you a piece of joy, then the embodiment of three of them will already be enough to rate your month as very successful. Write them down on a new page and then move on to the next point.

Exercise 3. Testing for truth. Unfortunately, many of our dreams are not true. They arise under the influence of external factors and, in fact, do not reflect the deepest desire of a person. To check how close your desires are to the true ones, you need to answer two questions in writing for each of them:

1) How much do I need this? 2) What will I experience when I receive it?

Moreover, to the first question you need to give at least five detailed answers. And the more reasons you can find to explain your goal, the more you need it.

Now you can say that you have deliberately chosen your goals for the current month. All you have to do is make a plan to achieve them and start implementing it.

For their successful implementation, you can also spend a week in the evenings visualizing your desires. This will fill them with energy and strengthen your intention and determination to achieve your goal.
